College Logo
The College of Charleston logo, which combines the existing College of Charleston wordmark with a new graphic rendition of historic Randolph Hall and its surroundings, is the result of a comprehensive analysis and selection process, including focus group participation by faculty, staff, alumni and students.
In the Logo Standards Guide, which is available as a downloadable PDF, you will find our usage guidelines. This guide is provided as a supplement to the College of Charleston Brand Manual, which contains comprehensive guidelines for the complete visual identity system for the College.
All designs developed by internal units of the College, or by outside vendors, can be submitted to the Office of University Marketing to ensure consistency with the standards within this guide. For questions about standards or to request a review of a design, email the Office at marketing@cofc.edu.
If you need your unit logo and wordmark, you can go directly to our logo database. Logos are listed alphabetically and include black, white and maroon versions. Note: if you do a search, use the first five letters of each word only (ex: acade-advis-plann-ctr.jpg).
The database is located on Google Drive at go.cofc.edu/logo. You will need to have a College of Charleston Google Apps account and a cofc.edu email address to access the database. If you don’t have a College Google Apps account, you can get one by logging into MyCharleston (my.cofc.edu). Click on the “Employee" tab, and use the "Request Your Google Apps Account" channel to create an account. If you don’t see your logo, please let us know so that we can create one for you and add it to the database.
